Recorded for the TY Programme 2021
The Bar of Ireland’s Look into Law Programme for Transition Year students kicked off in February 2021 with a schedule of recorded webcasts aimed at giving TY students nationwide a first-hand look at the life of a barrister, and how the justice system works. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, this year’s TY programme was run entirely online over the course of five weeks. The virtual and accessible nature of the programme meant that this year, there were 10,000 students registered to participate from 320 schools across 26 counties in Ireland. As part of the programme, our committee member, Michael O’Sullivan BL, kindly presented to students on the area of sports law and how it might impact on students’ daily life. Thanks Michael!
