The Hon. Ms. Justice Leonie Reynolds is currently a Judge of the High Court (2016 to date).
Educated in UCD with a degree in Politics and Economics. She then graduated with a Barrister at Law Degree in Kings Inns. She became a practicing barrister primarily on the Midland Circuit from 1993 to 2010. In 2010 she became a Circuit Court Judge.
In 2017 she served as Head of High Court Family Law Division and then moved to Head of High Court Chancery Division from 2019. She also worked as the Irish Representative in the International Hague Network of Judges (IHNJ) during this time.
Judge Reynolds was also a member of the Working Group on the Review of the Administration of Civil Justice which was chaired by Mr. Justice Peter Kelly (2018-2020). She was Irish representative on the Consultative Council of Judges in Europe (CCJE) since 2018.
Currently she is the President of the CCJE (January 2024 – January 2026) and is a current member of the Personal Injury Division primarily dealing with Clinical Negligence cases
